California Mural Art is an artist-led mural studio founded by professional muralist John Osgood and client relations and project manager Michele Osgood.

​

John creates original, hand-painted murals known for their bold color, layered imagery, nature-inspired elements, and contemporary visual storytelling. His work is never one-size-fits-all. Each mural is thoughtfully developed to reflect the character and story of the space, the people who use it, and the feeling the client wants to create.

What makes California Mural Art different is the level of care behind the artwork. While John leads the artistic vision, design, and detailed execution of every mural, Michele provides dedicated client communication, scheduling, coordination, and on-site production support for larger installations. Together, they create a process that is organized, responsive, and collaborative from the first conversation through final installation.

Clients receive more than a beautiful mural. Every project is approached with careful attention to its setting, from the architecture and flow of the space to the people who will experience it each day. Whether the mural is inside an office, part of a customer-facing business, or visible within a neighborhood, John and Michele work to create artwork that feels connected to its environment and purposeful within it.

With more than 15 years of professional experience, California Mural Art has completed projects for private homes, schools, restaurants, retail spaces, offices, hospitality environments, and public-facing commercial spaces. Selected clients include Microsoft, IBM, Capital One, San Francisco Premium Outlets, and New Amsterdam Vodka.
